Compatability with Stonebranch UDM and Infitran products

We have been working with the authors of UDM and Infitran ( latest release of UDM with bundled management tools ) to produce a interface to Mimic-XCOM and Mimic-CD.

UDM and Infitran are relatively new to the marketplace and as such lack the maturity of some of the established MFT products.

In the case of CA-XCOM we have withdrawn support for MIMIC Emulation as we have found that Infitran does not have sufficient market share at this time to justify our continued support. We would suggest customers consider one of the other MFTs we support.

In the case of Connect:Direct we have found that Infitran does not have an equivalent function set. Mimic-CD overcomes many of these issues, but not all can be overcome due to the functionality provided by the Infitran product. The scripting language in Infitran does not provide an easy migration path from C:D Process Language due to the lack of key functionality.

For this reason we only recommend a migration to UDM/Infitran from Connect:Direct in circumstances where the user has already chosen this as their target environment and the user accepts the gap in function.
